Brekitz collects only the minimum data needed to operate the app:

• Device identifier — A randomly generated ID stored on your device, used to identify tournament ownership. This is not linked to your identity or any personal information.
• Tournament data — Tournament names, participant names, match scores, and settings you create within the app.

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Location data
• Contacts or photos
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• Advertising identifiers

2. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used solely to:

• Store and display tournament brackets you create
• Identify you as the organizer of your tournaments
• Enable real-time score updates for spectators
• Allow sharing tournaments via links

3. Data Storage

Tournament data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, hosted in secure cloud infrastructure. Your device identifier is stored locally on your device and is sent to our servers only to verify tournament ownership.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Tournament data (names, scores, brackets) is visible to anyone with the tournament's share link — this is by design, as tournaments are meant to be shared.

5. Data Retention

Tournament data is retained as long as the tournament exists. You can delete your tournaments at any time from within the app, which permanently removes all associated data (participants, matches, and scores).

6. Children's Privacy

Brekitz does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information from any user, no special provisions are needed. The app is suitable for all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
